Hand sewing needle
For any hand sewing needs
Everything I use to make my own clothes. Not just for the patterns I sell here, for all of my sewing. Filter by what a thing is, or by what you are trying to sew. Some of these are affiliate links, so if you buy through one I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
For any hand sewing needs
For cutting straps, bias tape, waistbands, anything with a straight line, and for tracing.
The wider one, for longer straight cuts and squaring off an edge.
Makes cutting way quicker and easier
The big one. Worth it once you are cutting full garment pieces.
Combo for cutting
My favourite for quick and easy cutting!
Another popular rotary cutter.
Some people like these instead of a rotary cutter and mat. Also fast.
Hold the pattern down instead of pinning them for quick and easy cutting.
Snips thread quick and easy
Make bias tape and straps easily
Helps you sew over thick seams easily
Helps thread machines with ease (especially sergers!)
Helps you sew consistent and even seams
Clean your machine to keep it functioning well
Oil your machine so it works properly
Press seams without creasing the rest of the garment. You can also make your own.
Sticks to the machine bed and gives you a straight edge to run the fabric against for straight and even sewing.
Threads elastic and drawstrings through a casing without losing the end.
Used to sew an invisible zipper
Seals raw edges like a serger would, using the machine you already have.
A cheap way to get most of the feet you will ever reach for.
Rolls and stitches a narrow hem in one pass. Good on lightweight fabric.
Finishes raw edges and sews stretch properly. The biggest step up you can make.
If you sew stretch fabric a lot and want a professional finish
Gives a coverstitch effect on your sewing machine for stretch and appearance
Marks notches and darts on fabric, then disappears with the eraser or ironinig.

Organize sewing patterns in clear binder sleeves in binders for storage.
Organize sewing patterns in sleeves you can put into binders.
Catches pins instead of you finding them with your foot later.
Practice sewing and test garments. I recommend getting this at your local fabric or sewing supply store.
1" wide elastic for waistbands.
Narrow elastic for straps, necklines, cuffs, leg openings, etc.
1.5" wide elastic for waistbands (my preferred width for a waistband).
Stiffens facings, collars and waistbands so they hold their shape.
Regular zippers in a pack, so you have the right length when you need it.
A zipper that hides inside the seam so you cannot see it from the outside.
A mixed pack, so you are not making a trip for one button.
Closures without having to sew a buttonhole.
The small closure that goes above a zipper.
Stabilises shoulder seams and necklines so they do not stretch out.
Goes inside a stretch seam to stop it from stretching out and distorting with wear. Shoulders, necklines, waistbands.
Chlorine-resistant, so it survives a swimsuit.
