I design what I want to wear
I start with something I would actually buy in a store, and then work out how to make it for less. If I like it enough to own five of it, that is usually a good sign.
I learned to sew the same way a lot of people do now: sitting on the floor with my laptop open, pausing a free video every thirty seconds. Just a ton of trial and error. That is exactly why I make the tutorials I make.
I taught myself from what was free on the internet, which means I remember every part that was confusing. The first things I made barely fit, and most of them were not wearable at all. I kept iterating until they were, and that is the part I try to show you now.
That turned into real work. I made dance costumes, sewing them and drafting custom-fit patterns for individual bodies, and that got me a job in sewing and fashion. If you are wondering whether you can learn this without paying for a course, you can. I did.

Drafted in CLO3D, then test-sewn in real fabric to check the fit is actually right. If it does not fit when I sew it, it does not go out.
The digital file goes up here and on Etsy with a written and video tutorial, so you can buy it and start sewing straight away.
